11 Albums We're Looking Forward To

1. May1st, Santigold, Master of My Make Believe
What a great way to start off a beautiful month! We are beyond ready for the return of the lovely and talented Santigold. Anticipating the heavy-bass'd tracks and her well-known electro-pop vocals! The albums got some great singles, so the others are sure to follow suit. Three cheers for Santi!
2. May 1st, Reptar, Body Faucet
Another great way to start off a fantastic month! Body Faucet is sure to be perfect for early summer jam sessions in your car with friends. We're looking forward to the "set of shimmering sing-along anthem" from the Athens, Georgia natives. Go to http://reptarmusic.com/ You won't be sorry!
3. May 15th, Beach House, Bloom
As if "Equal Minds" and Myth aren't flawless on their own... the lovely indie-pop duo will return with their fourth album this May. Their spring tour will also kick off 11 days before the album release, so if you've got tickets I'm sure you're in for a treat! We hope to get more singles from Bloom since May 15th isn't coming fast enough!
4. May 29th, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Here
Oh, we're just awaiting the releasing of Here, the Los Angeles folk-pop troupe's second LP. Highlights on Here include the strummy, sun-soaked "Mayla," cut in a single live take with vocals from all 11 band members, and the galloping "Man on Fire," where Ebert sings, "I want the whole damn world to come dance with me." Adds the frontman, "That song is what we're about!" (rollingstone)
5. May 29th, Regina Spektor, What We Saw From the Cheap Seats
Finally more from the beautiful and talented Regina Spektor! She never fails to succeed in creating both lovely and catchy tunes. You can listen to "All the Rowboats," the first single from the album, below, along with two of her other singles, "Don't Leave Me" and "Small Town Moon".
6. June 12th, Hot Chip, In Our Heads
Come June we'll have the latest from London's fabulous electro-indie band! The album is actually self-produced, so we're pretty stoked to hear it! Check out the video below for their single, "Flutes".

7. June, Passion Pit, Title To Be Decided (no cover art)
     Lead singer, Michael Angelakos:
"I won't get into any detail, but I promise you that it is going to be beautiful, exciting, and fun record. i am    going to craft it to be much more interesting and less monotonous ride with an emphasis on the arch of the album itself, the collection of song. no deviations, just steps towards a sound that I think was buried out of insecurity. without question, if you liked the last record, 3 years later, you will love the new one. and who knows, the amount of songs i have, this could be a double-album." (The Phoenix)

8. July, Dirty Projectors, Swing Lo Magellan (no cover art)
Great singles! We're super stoked for more! Hear the singles Here!

9. August, Wavves, Title To Be Decided (no cover art)
We haven't heard much from Nathan Williams, but we know for sure Wavves will return this summer! We'll keep you guys posted for sure! Check out the video for his 2009 single, "King of the Beach":

10. Summer, Yeasayer, Title To Be Decided (no cover art)
We heard that Yeasayer may be releasing two albums this year.... YES, TWO! They are also experiencing with new sounds, like always! WE ARE SO EXCITED!

11. Summer, M.I.A, Title To Be Decided (no cover art)
I recently recall M.I.A asking fans for album titles via Twitter! I heard that she decided to name the album "Matangi", we'll know for sure soon! But I'm sure we're all anticipating the new music from the risque and controversial hip-hop-pop musician. Watch her video for her single, Bad Girls, below:

Also, enjoy this two minute preview of her unreleased track "Come Walk With Me", which features people dancing in a room.
